Enhancement, Management, and Upgrade (EMU)

A way to categorize projects, especially in the IT industry. Projects categorized as 'Enhancement' are focused on improving the performance or capabilities of an existing product. 'Management' projects are focused on maintaining an existing product. And 'Upgrade' projects focus on upgrading a product to a better version, usually after adding new features.
